After a long day I find myself wandering through the current issue of Architectural Digest Magazine online and what do I discover? Not ONLY the house that I would give my left arm for, but also some amazing rooms decorated with turquoise. Not necessarily "Shabby Chic" but deserving a mention none the less.
The future house of Les Maison D'Jour.

Turquoise silk wall paper drapes the walls in this comfortable Paris apartment. The furnishings are more Art Deco than the 18th century apartment and as thus is a happy surprise.
Hi, and welcome to Shabby N' Chic! My name is Dallee and I'm an avid lover of the cool, crisp lines and vintage colors that the design style of shabby and chic show off so well. I also love, love, love the colours blue, pink and will be posting pictures of design ideas based around these colours too. Gardening ideas, bedding, house designs and plans are all things that I love too, as long as they're shabby, well loved and worn in!

April 11, 2011 - Gorgeous bedroom redecorated!
This morning I came across a delicious re-design of a hallway into a guest bedroom in the house beautiful magazine. It is the bedroom and that wonderful dark turquoise color that caught my eye!
